Inspired by real events, Textual Intercourse chronicles the online dating adventures of Eddie and her girlfriends in New York City and the gorgeous, ugly, sexy, kinky, fantastically weird men and women they meet along the way. In the first episode, poor, dorky Eddie is excited about a hot first date, and her best friends try to help her comprehend the intricacies of online flirting to no avail. However, it takes a run-in with an ominous night terror for Eddie to understand that happiness starts with self-love. In the second episode, bohemian Ruby and handsome Julian are having a fabulous first date, but when Ruby wants him to go home with her, Julian surprises her with his sexual proclivities. He tries to manipulate her into fulfilling his fantasies, but Ruby gets the upper hand in the film's hilarious climax. In future episodes, we follow fellow friends Porsche and Lolly on their own dating disasters.

by Roman Molino Dunn

This stunning original score for the pilot episode of Textual Intercourse combines elements of traditional romantic comedy with dark comedy and the surreal. Composer Roman Molino Dunn called upon influences from classic quirky rom-coms of the 1980's and 1990's in order to pitch the tone just right for the girls' absurd adventures on online dating.
